A very special congratulations to all the CIPA units who attended the 2011 WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio this past April!
Byrnes HS finished in 8th place in Scholastic Open, and The Cast finished in 12th place in Independent Open. Congrats as well to Southeast Independent, an Independent Open semi-finalist, and Karns HS, a Scholastic A semi-finalist.
In the percussion division, congratulations to Dorman HS who finished 6th in Scholastic Open, Halls HS who finished 7th in Scholastic A, and Palmetto Percussion who finished 12th in Independent World. Congrats as well to Clover HS and Hardin Valley Academy who competed in Scholastic A, and Catalyst Percussion who competed in Independent A.
Great job everyone, and thanks for representing CIPA so well on the national stage.
